Local Ventura County activists and organized public safety leaders, who have been fighting the Receiver’s desire to build a large prison hospital in Camarillo, had hoped the Gov’s effort would have put an end to the political and legal fight. This appears to not yet be over.

Funny thing about this whole story as I’ve watched it play out; many of the same people screaming about the “unfairness of it all” (putting a prison hospital in their backyard) were the hardest to convince that Judicial Activism is a real problem.
Of course, NIMBYs think the world revolves around them anyway, or it should.
