California Lutheran University Public Policy Grad Students have converged on the California State Capitol for three days as part of CLU’s new Sacramento Institute, providing students with the opportunity to interface with  policymakers and political leaders.  Setting the stage for this three-day program will be Ventura County’s own Timm Herdt, Reporter and Capitol Bureau Chief for the Ventura County Star.  Timm has been tracking the budget battle and efforts to reform California’s government such as the spending cap, open primary, and the current Constitutional Convention.
